Hello Y'all,
One week of straight bikes, nice. It made for a little bit of a long week butttt it wasn't too bad. It was a little bit of another slow week for lessons but we got some good things done.
Friday it rained like no other. It started and we were in our apartment and we were trying to decide if we should just go or stay in and be dry. We had to get something done so we just went out in it. Took everything out of my pockets and put everything in plastic bags in my backpack. 100% soaked in about 3 minutes. We rode through some puddles that were deep enough to cover our feet when we were peddling. NICE. It actually felt way good because it was a pretty dang hot week.
We went on exchanges on Wednesday, which was good. I like getting out of my area every now and again.
I got a hair cut this morning.
The other Elders took our recent 77 year-old convert out on exchanges. They visited one of their attractive investigators and Johnny was amazed. He keeps telling us we should take her home with us. "If I was your age..." I freaking love that guy. He had all his friends over yesterday for after-Church nachos...him and us 6 Elders. He loves us. Of course, I made the nachos because I'm the best cook. He is a funny guy. He got a bike so now he can be like us. Hopefully, he gets his license today.
We have one-on-one interviews with President this week so I'm looking forward to that. Transfers are in 2 weeks and I'm pretty sure I'm heading out of this area. We'll see, though. ay te watcho! Everything is good with the companion but I'm going to be ready to change at the end of the transfer.
I got a sweet letter from Aunt Jerri completely written on toilet paper, very creative. She says she got as Apple desktop. Nice.
You need to send my love to Brother Winter and Burl. I miss those guys.
I'm going to write President then send some pictures. I love you lots.
Love,
Elder Wiest
