Some where in New Mexico

Joseph's mission to Albuquerque, New Mexico

This blog is to help friends and family keep up on Joseph while he is on his mission. I will add letters and pictures as I get them. Enjoy and write him whenever you can.

December 12, 2011

Hola,

Last week was very busy. We delivered a Christmas tree to one of our investigators. I think it meant a lot to her and her family. We have been working really hard with her and she is really close to baptism, but I'm not sure if it will happen before I leave.

I got my "trunky papers" on Saturday. They have all my flight stuff and information about going to the temple before I leave. It doesn't even feel real. It still feels a long ways away. I don't know why.

We've been finding new people so that's been keeping me focused.

I ate some peanut butter this morning that I think was like 5 years old. GROSS.

It snowed last week! Not very much, but it snowed.

We have a busy week this week so I think it's going to go fast. Tomorrow we have Exchanges. Wednesday I have my departure interview with the mission president. Thursday we have Zone Conference. Friday I have a lunch date. Saturday and Sunday I don't know...packing, I guess. I hate packing.

I started flossing again in preparation for my dentist appointment in a few weeks.

I also finished reading "Jesus the Christ" 2 weeks ago and have 30 pages left in "El Libro de Mormon".

Everything is coming together.

Love,

Elder Wiest
