Hola,
Sooo, as for my last transfer I will be staying in my area and I'll be staying with Elder Humphreys. My whole mission in El Paso. Crazy.
President pulled a quick one on everybody this transfer and only told the people who were leaving that they were leaving. No one knows who their new companions will be or where they are going if they are moving. I'm glad this is my last transfer.
We set two baptismal dates this week and have a lot of really good people we are working with. One of our investigators with a date is a 14 year-old kid. We've been teaching his whole family but never all at once...two here, two there, but they are all really cool and hopefully we can get them all on the same page here soon.
It's been cooling down a lot and its great.
Last night, I went to my old area and went to the bishop's house for a going away deal for Elder Salazar. It was really nice to see all those people over there. I couldn't stop smiling.
One of the elders in the ward is going home this week and it's been weird seeing him this transfer and past few days getting ready. Missions go by soooo fast. You can't blink or else you might miss it.
Love,
Elder Wiest
